San Clemente, CA - Billie Vaughn Wilcox was born on November 3, 1925 and died April 30, 2025. She was surrounded by her children, grandchildren and loved ones .
Billie came to San Clemente, from Chester Springs, PA in 2007 to be near her daughters Cassie Speace and Abbie Love (now of PA). Billie immediately chose to live overlooking the ocean, and embraced absolutely everything about San Clemente. She volunteered her time at Casa Romantica and read to toddlers at the library. An insatiable reader herself, in much later years she would continue to walk into town to choose her weekly books. Her great love of swimming brought her to the Ole Hanson pool where she met a wonderfully vivacious group of friends, many of which remain close today. Never one to back away from challenges, she loved adventurous travel which took her all over the world.
Billie was truly a devoted mother of four, grandmother of seven, great grandmother of seven, and friend, who will be dearly missed, leaving a legacy for those that she loved.
